Mary has practiced in the area of civil litigation since her call to the bar in 1996. She has a broad range of litigation experience at all levels of Ontario courts. Mary has a particular focus on resolving matters for clients who face disputes involving powers of attorney and wills and estates. Mary also helps her clients with personal injury and employments matters, with experience from both the plaintiffs' and defendants' perspectives.
Mary is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocates' Society (Promoting Excellence in Advocacy), the Hamilton Estate Planners Association and the Hamilton Law Association.
Mary obtained her Bachelor of Arts in 1991 from Wilfrid Laurier University and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario in 1994. Mary was born and raised in Hamilton and is happy to have returned to continue her practice in her home town. Mary runs, plays tennis and skis. She's actively involved in fundraising and parent council in her community school and sits as a member of the Benefits and Services Committee of the Hamilton Law Association.
